Our club was established in 1980 by a group of career women working in the Downtown Houston area. Currently, our members include professionals from the public and private sectors, as well as elected officials. We welcome any individual, male or female, to visit our meetings and to become a member of our club. We are affiliated with the National Federation of Republican Women, the Texas Federation of Republican Women, and the Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women.
Our GoalOur goal is to elect Republicans to office. Through the activities of our club, our members are well-informed about both candidates and issues.
MeetingsWe meet for lunch at noon on the 3rd Wednesday at The Spaghetti Warehouse, 901 Commerce, in Downtown Houston. Cost is $10 and includes a salad, entree, and beverage. No meetings in June, July, or August Friday, June 13 Texas Federation of Republican Women Tribute to Women Luncheon 11:30 AM Hilton Americas Hotel Join us in honoring our VP Programs, Mary Jane Smith and many other Republican Women across the state. October Meeting - Wednesday, October 22 Noon, Spaghetti Warehouse Program & speaker(s) to be announced Lunch, including soft drink $10 Please make your luncheon selection at the first floor desk, but DO NOT PAY downstairs. Please proceed upstairs to the Bank Room, which is at the top of the stairs, and pay our Treasurer $10. The $10 includes a tip for our server and covers our room charge and our speakers' lunches.

Membership <== click here for 2008 Membership Application Dues are $28 annually for women who choose to make Houston Professional Republican Women their home club. Dues are $15 annually for gentlemen and for women whose home club is another federated Republican Women's Club. May 21 - Dr. Neil Frank gave us a great presentation on man-made global warming and the approaching hurricane season. March 12 - Member Attends National Federation of Republican Women Regent's Tea at The White House NFRW Regent and HPRW Treasurer Tomi Porterfield attended a tea with Laura Bush at The White House. Many Regents from the Houston area, Texas, and across the country were there to enjoy this annual event one last time with Mrs. Bush. A wonderful time was had by all. Congratulations to 2006-07 HPRW President Pam Halliburton, who has been elected VP Membership, Greater Houston Council of Federated Republican Women November 9 - 11 Member attends Texas Federation of Republican Women Convention in El Paso October 9 - Members participate in Harris County Judicial Signing Party. September 28 - Member attends National Federation of Republican Women Convention in Palm Sprigs. September 17 - Dictionaries and library books donated to local elementary schools.
